we know who will win (usa), but you should watch the game anyway.

Jim,
I'm disappointed that as a soccer player even you have the gullibility to think that the US has a fighting chance in tomorrow's game or the rest of the world cup. Consider this an intervention to speak some honest, loving, gentle truth into your life - it ain't gonna happen, so you might as well go ahead and get you some tissues and a shoulder to cry on. I hope this truth sets you free from the darkness enshrouding your mind that would make you write what you did,

i'm there with you on that heather. kirk was reading me off the list of countries in the cup so i could decide who to cheer for. it's always a little bit hard for me to decide (kenya never makes it in, nearly not good enough). i said maybe england b/c my parents live there but other than that i said i didn't have any ties with the other countries. kirk said, "what about the US?" but i just can't bring myself to it, they're just not quite on the same level. however, i will say that if it were the women's world cup it'd be a different story.
